The Massachusetts Boston Mission is operated by The Church Of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints,"The Mormons",
and was originally part of the Eastern States Mission, which was established in 1854 with John Taylor as the first Mission President.
Throughout the years the mission has been divided several times. There are now many missions in the New England States with the Massachusetts Boston Mission being created in 1974.
